historic, half-mile oval with the checkered flag hoisted high in the air.
After catching his breath and climbing back to the ground the

upcoming weekend, October 10-11-12 after the 25th Annual
‘Pittsburgher 100’ at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor

Who Will It Be?
Who will be crowned ‘King’ of the ‘Kings of Dirt’ and claim
the first ever NDRL championship? The five event mini-series
was originally set to kick off during the weekend of March 29
and 30 at Paducah (KY) International Raceway and Federated
Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, MO. Unfortunately Mother
Nature had different plans forcing NDRL officials to move the
opening weekend to April 12 and 13.
Shinnston, West Virginia’s ‘Rocket Man’, Josh Richards
launched his way into the record books on Friday, April 12
after a dominating win at Paducah International Raceway
becoming the first ever NDRL event winner. The following
night, April 13 at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55,
Richards was again in the hunt to claim his second $20,000 win
of the weekend but after leading early in the event, suffered
a flat tire ending his chances at a weekend sweep. Muscataine,
Iowa’s Brian Birkhofer was eventually named the winner but it
was Jimmy Mars of Menomonie, Wisconsin, with finishes of third
and second, who led the championship point standings at the
end of the inaugural weekend.READ MORE HERE

of their inaugural season on Monday evening with a trip to the
picturesque Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex, and it was Billy

$20,000-to-win affair.
Steve Shaver and
Dennis Erb Jr. brought the field to the green flag for the 75
lap finale, and Shaver gunned to the lead at the drop of the
green flag with fellow front row starter, Dennis Erb Jr. in

The running order at the front of the pack remained the same
until lap 10, when Scenic slowed from the 4th position with
mechanical issues to draw the caution. The ensuing restart saw Shaver again pull away from the
field, while Davey Johnson and Gregg Satterlee went to work in
a three wide battle for the 2nd spot. The battle would be halted two laps later on lap 12,
when a brief heavy rain shower drenched the oval.
After a twenty minute delay action resumed with Shaver at the
point, and over the next several laps the event saw several
restarts for flat tires. While Shaver remained constant out front the top five
shuffled from lap to lap behind him as Satterlee, Johnson,
Josh Richards, and Cody Hardesty waged war.READ MORE HERE
